MEET Joy
Allow me to introduce myself
You might be asking yourself: “Who’s behind this?"
The truth is... I'm just like you. I love Jesus. I'm a wife, a mom, a Nana, a friend, and a girl who loves her people!
I've loved meeting with and ministering to women for as long as I can remember. My heart is to see people set free from bondage and living in the fullness of everything God has for them.
My life hasn't been without struggles (see... we're more alike than you realized), but through it all, I have found comfort and joy in Jesus, my family, and friendships.
In 2020, as the world shut down, I started an online Bible study/small group to connect with other women. Guess what... it's still going! Proof enough that meaningful, life-giving connection IS possible even through a screen. We have shared together, prayed for each other, grieved with each other, and celebrated victories along the way.
As I've spoken with many women over the past few years, by far the biggest need I've heard is to connect with other Jesus-loving women in a safe and honest space. We were created to be in community with each other!
And that's why I created Rooted + Free Sisterhood. But this isn't just the "Joy show." I've gathered some incredible women to come with me as we steward this beautiful space! You will be blessed by each one of them.
