What exactly is an inner healing or soul healing session?
Our soul consists of our mind, will, and emotions. An inner healing session is a Holy Spirit led time of addressing root causes for soul wounds such as grief, shame, trauma, and rejection, as well as many other things. Once those roots are exposed, they can be dealt with and rid of once and for all so that the individual desiring inner healing can then walk in true freedom that Jesus paid for by His death on the cross.
Is inner healing Biblical?
Though the term "inner healing" is not used in the Bible, we see evidence of it in Jesus' interaction with the Samaritan woman at the well, David's restoration after his failure with Bathsheba, and Peter's restoration after his denial of Jesus. God's heart is to restore and renew each one of us, and we are blessed to be used of Him to help others who need restoration and renewal.
